Doing physics in my university degree, I was more and more drawn into geo-physics.
I wanted to understand what was going on in our atmosphere.
How do snow crystals form ? When does rain turn into snow ?
What happens when the temperatures suddenly drop ?
How can we forecast the weather ?
How does the weather vary on the different continents?
How does the climate change ?
As in every science it is super important to have data on which to base your research: weather data and climate data from all over the world.
….and so I entered this fascinating research are, and still love it until today. It’s such an exciting and important topic.
